TBN: Skincare/Makeup Hybrids Edition- Lancôme 'Skin Feels Good' Review

I got 'Skin Feels Good' by Lancôme at the peak of my retinol face-shedding phase. I haven't bought something from Lancôme in ages, I'm a niche beauty kind of girl. But I stumbled upon this in my quest for ultra-hydrating products and it is noteworthy. It's a tinted moisturiser/skincare/CC cream hybrid packed full of goodness: hyaluronic acid to hydrate, moringa seed extract to protect against free radicals and a bonus SPF 23.

I use it over my serum and moisturiser. It has a more liquid consistency, there's a slight learning curve for correct application (I buff in with the genius It Cosmetics dual-ended face brush). It disappears into the skin and has a very natural finish, dewy not oily (I finish it off with some Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Powder to make sure it stays that way). For my combination skin, it's lovely. For dry skin, I suspect it would be glorious. Below, a photo of how it looks in real life.

Long story short, I love it. This is not what I wear every day in the harsh winter weather, I prefer thicker, more full-coverage products. But when my skin is retinol-peeling and I NEED the hydration (two days a week minimum at this point), this is perfection. Quite certain this is going to be my go-to from spring onward, moving into the summer. I prefer lighter foundations then, and, apart from being radiant and light, this product is wonderfully formulated. Good job Lancôme.
